New Videos

Hayley is almost 6 months old. She is still learning so much. Here are a few videos of her sitting up and playing.

Big Changes!

Hayley turned 5 months old on 04/12/08. She is growing so much and it is so amazing to watch her learn new things. She has learned alot this past month.

1. She is eating baby veggies and fruits every day (her favorite fruit is bananas; her favorite veggie is green beans); she has made it through all of the first foods and hopefully we will start her on the 2nd foods in the next couple of weeks

2. She rolled over in her sleep for the first time on 04/18/08; this was new to her and she woke herself up after she rolled over

3. She sat up without support on 04/16/08

We told her that she needs to slow down; she can't make so many changes at one time; Mommy and Daddy can't handle it; our little girl is growing up too fast :(

We are taking our first plane trip at the end of May. My nephew (Josh) is graduating from high school and then leaving a few weeks after that to go into the Army. We are so proud of Josh and the man he is becoming. Hayley, my mom and I are all flying out to Texas together. I hope that the trip goes smooth. We are all excited because it will be the first time Hayley meets her Aunt Neisy and her cousins, Josh, Jessie and Jordyn. I know they are looking forward to it as much as we are.

Rolling Over

Our precious little girl rolled over for the first time tonight. She has been trying for the last week so we knew she was getting close. We were playing on her activity mat and over she went. I think she shocked herself because after she rolled over she cried. We are so proud! Here is a video of her third attempt.

First Easter

It was Hayley's first Easter today. We had lunch with Maw-Maw, Paw-Paw, Granddad and GiGi. Hayley was wearing her first little Easter dress that was sent to her by Aunt Neisy. The dress was so cute on her. Hopefully next year she will be able to enjoy hunting easter eggs. Here are a few videos and pictures.

First Feeding

We got the OK from the pediatrician to try rice cereal for the first time. It was interesting; more of it went on her than in her mouth. We will keep trying and hopefully she will get the hang of eating from a spoon.

4 Months Old

Hayley is 4 months old today. Wow, time goes by so fast. She has discovered her hands and feet. She is a chatter box and makes all kinds of noises. She will carry on a conversation with you (even though you don't know what she is saying). We love her more and more each day. Here are a few new pictures.

Family

Hayley got some visitors this weekend. Jay, Lynn, Baby Jay and Mrs. Julie came to meet Hayley (this is some of my family from Lafayette, LA). Lynn and Jay are the ones that did the cool 3D/4D ultrasound of Hayley when I was pregnant with her. They have an adorable new baby that is 8 months old. We had a wonderful visit. Anyway we love and miss them very much and hope to see them all again soon. Here are a few pictures.
