Hays Family Visit

My cousins from Lafayette came to visit back in August and we went to Orange Beach to see them. I just got some of the pictures so that is why this post is late. They stayed in a condo so we went to play on the beach for the day with them and their son, Baby Jay. Their new baby girl, Nola, stayed in Lafayette with Grandma since she was so little.

Hayley and Baby Jay had so much fun playing together. They were so cute. We will have to tell them when they get older that they were "kissing cousins".

Big Girl Bed

We converted Hayley's crib into a "big girl" full size bed over this past weekend. She really likes sleeping in a bigger bed. Her room looks so cute.

Hayley turned 2 on 11-12; she is getting so big and is constantly learning new things every day. She amazes us each and every day. We had her birthday party on Sat 11-14. Her theme was from the cartoon "Phineas and Ferb". I swear she loves this show so much. Her birthday cake was a character from the show "Perry the Platypus". Her cake was awesome. She got so many great presents. Again, thank you to everybody. It just makes us so happy that Hayley has so many friends and family that love her so much.

Blue Angel Show

Hayley loves airplanes so we took her to the Blue Angel Show this year. Jason got VIP tickets so we were really up close. We all had alot of fun but Hayley really loved it.

Halloween

Halloween was a lady bug for Halloween this year. She was not sure about everything at first but after a few houses, she got the hang of it. All of the grandparents came over and went trick-or treating with us. We also baked Halloween cookies with Maw-Maw this year and had lots of fun doing it. Thank you Maw-Maw for all your hard work.

Many of you know our very good friends James and Jennifer Chinchar. I posted on our blog months ago about their new addition that would be arriving. They already have a daughter that is almost 3, Addyson. Well, their new addition arrived on Friday.

Texas Trip-Zoo

We went to the Ft. Worth Zoo on Wednesday. Hayley loved looking at all of the different animals. She was completely amazed by everything. The Zoo is beautiful and we really enjoyed it.

Texas Trip-Ft. Worth Stockyards

W also went to the historic stockyards in downtown Ft. Worth while we were in Texas. They still have live cattle herding up and down this old time brick road. There are all kinds of shops and misc things to do. Here are a bunch of pictures.

We went to Texas to see my sister and her family. We all had a great time. We went to a bunch of different places. There are little water parks all through their town, we went to one in particular a couple of times. Here are a few pictures.

Jason and I took a few days off in July and we took Hayley to the beach one of those nights. She was not excited at first but after a little bit she warmed up to it. She chased some little crabs and we put her foot prints in the sand.

Hayley is still spending her days with my mom and dad while Jason and I work. She loves it over there and is getting spoiled. She has a particular routine each day and if you mees up her routine, then you better watch out.

Pool Days

Hayley is really loving the pool this summer. We cannot even hardly take her outside without her wanting to get in it. We are glad that she loves it so much and we enjoy spending time with her in the pool.

Mother's Day 2009

We had a wonderful Mother's Day this year. Apparently Hayley has already learned to drive because she got up on Mother's Day and drove to get me breakfast (I secretly think Daddy drove her). Anyway we had a bunch of family over and cooked out and got in the pool. It was a wonderful day. I got so many thoughtful cards and gifts; I am very lucky.

Harlan Family Visit

Bobby, Erin, Abby and Emily came to visit us over this past weekend. We were so excited to see them and the girls had a ball playing together. We really miss all of them and wish they would move closer. We love you guys and hope to see you again soon.

Easter Sunday

We spent Easter Sunday with a bunch of family. We went to church with GiGi and Granddad. After church we went back to their house for Easter dinner. Maw-Maw, Paw-Paw, Great Paw-Paw, Great Grandmar, Great Granddad and Great MiMi came over also. Hayley got so much easter stuff from everybody. She is so loved. We hunted easter eggs and had a great time. We are truly grateful that Hayley has so many people that love her.

Valentine's Day

Hayley stayed the night with Maw-Maw and Paw-Paw on Valentine's so Jason and I could have a night out. We missed her but it was nice to have some time together. Hayley got a bunch of presents from everybody for Valentine's. She got money, clothes, a care bear video with a stuffed care bear and a Radio Flyer ride on Turtle. No, not me but I had you there for a second didn't I? Our very good friends, James and Jennifer are expecting their second child in September of this year. They told us about 2 weeks ago and I meant to post about it then but got side tracked. Anyway they already have a beautiful daughter, Addyson, she will be almost 3 when the new baby arrives. We are thrilled for them. We feel we have a unique and special bond with them because Jason and I were the ones that introduced them to each other. Of course we like to joke that we just thought they would date and have some fun together. We had no idea that they would get married and have kids :)

Anyway, they told us in the cutest way, by sending us a picture of Addyson wearing a shirt that says "I'm the big sister". The picture is attached.

We had spaghetti the other night for dinner. Usually we feed Hayley something like this because it is messy. But on this night we let her feed herself, as you can see from the pictures, she got it everywhere. She had fun but it took us a while to clean up after her.

Hayley is finally starting to take some steps here and there. We think she has been able to do it for awhile but is just scared. Christmas was so much fun this year. Hayley was only 1 month old last year so she did not really even understand. This year she enjoyed opening her presents and spending time with everybody. She got SO MUCH stuff. She has so many people that care about her. Her room is full of toys. All of her presents were special but one in particular is very special. Daddy, Granddad and GiGi made Hayley a toy box (Mommy helped a little also). It is beautiful and we hope that it is something that she will treasure for many years. Here are a few pictures.

Zoo Lights

We got together with my best friend Gwen, her husband and their daughter Alyssa (Hayley's best friend) on Friday night for our 2nd annual gift exchange between the girls. We decided after last year to make it a tradition to get the girls together each year at Christmas. Anyway, after we opened presents, we went to the Gulf Breeze Zoo to see the Zoo lights. The girls had alot of fun. Hayley was fine with Mrs. Claus but did not like Santa Claus. She cried the whole time on his lap. Hopefully she will learn to like him as the years go on. Vegas Trip

Jason took me to Vegas for my birthday this year. We just got back on Monday. We stayed for 4 days at Planet Hollywood and had a blast. We saw Jay Leno and a Cirque du Soleil show called "Mystere". It was our first time without Hayley for longer than 1 night. She was in good hands, my parents and Jason's parents watched her for us.

Sad News

My Grandmother's long battle with cancer has finally ended. She passed away late last night. We are so sad that she is no longer going to be with us but we are also grateful that she is no longer suffering. Please pray for for her and for my family in this time of tradegy.

1st Birthday Party

We had Hayley's first birthday party yesterday. She had so much fun and got so many gifts. Thanks to everybody who came to help us celebrate. Hayley is so blessed to have so many people who care about her. We had alot of family that came from many far away places to be there for our beautiful baby girl's special day and we just wanted to say that we love all of you for that. We also had some family/friends that could not be there to celebrate due to various reasons. We know that you were all there in spirit and would have been there if you could have. Wagon

We bought Hayley a "little red wagon" for her first birthday which is coming up next Wednesday. I can't believe she is almost a year already. Time flies by so fast. Anyway her birthday party is Sunday November 16th for those of you who forgot. We were going to wait and give her the wagon at her party but she keep messing with the box so Daddy went ahead and put it together and gave it to her. She loves it. We used it on Halloween to pull her around.

First Halloween

Hayley celebrated her first Halloween on Friday night. She was so cute. She had two outfits. Her trick or treat outfit was a little Bumble Bee. We borrowed it from Jennifer and James; it was their daughter's outfit last year. It was so cute. Her other outfit was a little pant and shirt outfit that was orange and black and said "Boo" on the front. Aunt Jill and Uncle Clif sent this to her. She wore this out to dinner after trick or treating. She really enjoyed watching all of the kids in their costumes. She did not care much about the candy, all she wanted to do was toss it out of her bucket onto the street. I spent most of the night picking up behind her and trying to not leave all of the candy in the street.

Hayley took her first trip to the Pensacola Interstate Fair on Monday night. Daddy had school so me and my mom took Hayley and met our friends James, Jennifer and their daughter Addyson. Jennifers' parents were also there. Hayley had so much fun looking at all of the people and the lights. She also had her first bite of funnel cake (YUM!). She rode the carousel and the little train with Addyson. Addyson is so sweet and really seems to like playing with Hayley. She cannot say her full name so she calls her "Hay", it is really cute.

She loves her playhouse and we finally found the perfect spot for it in the yard. We went to Chalmette (outside of New Orleans) this weekend to visit some of my family. My grandmother has been battling cancer for awhile now and has not been doing so well so we went to see her. Dennis & Deni finally tied the knot. My brother and his fiance got married on Saturday. It was a beautiful wedding and we are so glad for both of them. Deni has been a part of our lives for a long time now and we are proud to officially welcome her to the family. We all had a great time at the wedding. We just wish that Josh, Jessie and Jordyn could have been there (my sister's kids). Josh is at ATI school in Georgia and the girls had school so they could not make it.

Hayley officially took her first plane trip on Friday 05/30/08. We flew to Texas to see Josh graduate. She did great on the ride there and on the way back. She was very excited to finally meet her Aunt Neisy and all of her cousins. We had alot of fun. Josh is officially a high school graduate and is leaving next Wed 06/11 for the next chapter in his life (The Army). We wish him all of the best and will miss him bunches. Here are a few pictures.

Hayley has started getting her first tooth. We were shopping today and she was putting my finger in her mouth and I felt something sharp. Sure enough when we looked, her first tooth is starting to come in!! We are so excited.

Big "Treigle" Family News!!

My brother "Dennis" and his longtime girlfriend "Deni" are getting married! They called tonight to tell us the news. We are all so excited for both of them. We love Deni very much and can't wait until she is officially part of the family (even though we have already considered her family for many years). Hayley is especially excited, she even made a sign for them in the attached pictures. Just in case you can't read the sign, it says "Congrats Uncle Dennis and Aunt Deni, It's about time".

On another note, Hayley had her 6 month check up on Friday.

Height - 26 3/4 inches

Weight - 17 lbs 13 ozs

The doctor said she is still in the 80 percentile for her height and weight.

Mother's Day

Today we celebrated Mother's Day. Maw-Maw, Paw-Paw, Gi-Gi, Grandad and Uncle Dennis all came over to celebrate with us. We also got in the pool for the 1st time this year. It was a little cold but we still enjoyed it. Hayley really enjoyed floating around in her little turtle float.

We played dress up today. We put Hayley in a couple of different outfits that were bought different family/friends.

1. This outfit was given to Hayley by Aunt Jill and Uncle Clif; it is the marine camouflage pattern (obviously because Uncle Clif is proudly serving our country in the marines)

2. The other photos of the camouflage and orange vest are for all of the family that enjoys hunting (which is almost all of them)

Big Changes!

Hayley turned 5 months old on 04/12/08. She is growing so much and it is so amazing to watch her learn new things. She has learned alot this past month.

1. She is eating baby veggies and fruits every day (her favorite fruit is bananas; her favorite veggie is green beans); she has made it through all of the first foods and hopefully we will start her on the 2nd foods in the next couple of weeks

2. She rolled over in her sleep for the first time on 04/18/08; this was new to her and she woke herself up after she rolled over

3. She sat up without support on 04/16/08

We told her that she needs to slow down; she can't make so many changes at one time; Mommy and Daddy can't handle it; our little girl is growing up too fast :(

We are taking our first plane trip at the end of May. My nephew (Josh) is graduating from high school and then leaving a few weeks after that to go into the Army. We are so proud of Josh and the man he is becoming. Hayley, my mom and I are all flying out to Texas together. I hope that the trip goes smooth. We are all excited because it will be the first time Hayley meets her Aunt Neisy and her cousins, Josh, Jessie and Jordyn. I know they are looking forward to it as much as we are.

Rolling Over

Our precious little girl rolled over for the first time tonight. She has been trying for the last week so we knew she was getting close. We were playing on her activity mat and over she went. I think she shocked herself because after she rolled over she cried. We are so proud! Here is a video of her third attempt.

It was Hayley's first Easter today. We had lunch with Maw-Maw, Paw-Paw, Granddad and GiGi. Hayley was wearing her first little Easter dress that was sent to her by Aunt Neisy. We got the OK from the pediatrician to try rice cereal for the first time. It was interesting; more of it went on her than in her mouth. We will keep trying and hopefully she will get the hang of eating from a spoon.

Hayley is 4 months old today. Wow, time goes by so fast. She has discovered her hands and feet. She is a chatter box and makes all kinds of noises. Hayley got some visitors this weekend. Jay, Lynn, Baby Jay and Mrs. Julie came to meet Hayley (this is some of my family from Lafayette, LA). Lynn and Jay are the ones that did the cool 3D/4D ultrasound of Hayley when I was pregnant with her. They have an adorable new baby that is 8 months old. We had a wonderful visit. 13 Weeks Old

Hayley is 13 weeks old today. She is growing like a weed. She had a check-up with the doctor today:

Weight: 13 lbs 2 ozs (she is in the 75 percentile on her weight)

Length: 24 3/4 inches (she is in the 90 percentile for her height; I guess she will be tall just like her Daddy)

Hayley is almost 10 weeks old and is doing great. My first day back at work was Jan 7th. Jason and I miss her when we are at work but we are very blessed that my mom (Maw-Maw) watches her for us during the day. Meeting More Family

Hayley also got to meet more family this week. She is a very popular little girl. Aunt Maryann, Austin and Lundy all came from Georgia to meet our little princess and stay with us for a few days. Uncle Henry has not met her yet and hopefully will see her soon. They all enjoyed holding her. Austin was really sweet with her. Jason and Austin went hunting and left us girls to shop for the day. Lundy was especially helpful to me while Jason was gone; she helped me out alot with Hayley (she changed her and fed her for us). We love and miss all of them and hope to see them again soon. Meeting Family

Hayley finally got to meet her Aunt Jill and Uncle Clif for the first time yesterday. They flew in from California last night. Hayley was very excited to see both of them and enjoyed being held and loved on. We are all glad to see Jill and Clif for the holidays. We love and miss them very much and wish they lived closer. Also Great Uncle Denny flew in from Houston and Hayley was so glad to see him again. Here are a few pictures.

We took Hayley to visit her best friend "Alyssa" tonight and they exchanged Christmas gifts. Alyssa is my best friend Gwen's little girl; she is a few months older then Hayley. We hope as the girls grow up they are as close as Gwen and I are. Here are a few pictures of them.

Hayley is 4 weeks old today. She is growing and changing every day. We love her so much and can't imagine our life without her. She is developing so much personality.

We went to visit the park in our neighborhood. Hayley had lots of fun hanging out with Mommy and Daddy. We can't wait until she is bigger so she can play on everything.

We just wanted to say a quick thanks to all of our friends and family that have visited us and helped us with numerous things. We appreciate all of the help and advice from everybody. We are so blessed to have so many people who care about us. We also just wanted to say a special "Hello" to Aunt Neisy and Aunt Jello who have not got to meet their beautiful niece yet. We love and miss you guys and hope to see you soon. Hayley can't wait to meet both of you :)

2 Weeks Old

Hayley is 2 weeks old today. Each day has been a new experience. It is amazing watching her grow each day. We had our first official outing yesterday. We went to Toy R Us and then to eat. She was very good the whole time.

Welcoming our new baby!

We welcomed our new beautiful baby girl "Hayley Lynn" into this world on November 12, 2007 at 7:56 AM. She weighed 8 lbs 6 ozs and was 20 3/4 inches long. We have been enjoying every minute of her. She did not sleep much the first night but the last couple of nights she has been sleeping for over 5 hours at a time. Let's hope she keeps it up.
